DIRECT FROM SALARY GIVING
Direct from Salary Giving is a simple and powerful way for Massey University staff to support the initiatives they care about—right here within the university community.
This year, the Foundation is once again encouraging staff to consider joining the scheme and supporting its “For a Better World” campaign.
Even a small fortnightly gift from your salary can create meaningful change and have a lasting impact.

“I am grateful for the teaching and support that the staff of Massey have given me.”
How does it work?
The Foundation's Do Something Good programme, also known as Direct from Salary Giving or Payroll Giving, enables you to donate directly from your fortnightly pay to a fund of your choice within the Massey University Foundation.
Match-funding
Massey University generously match-funds donations made, meaning every donation you make from your salary is doubled before it reaches us here at the Foundation.
Tax rebate
You will receive an immediate tax relief of 33.3% on donations of $5 or more. This means a donation of $10 will cost you $6.67 out of your pay - you do not need to wait to claim a rebate at the end of the tax year.
Choose your fund
Whether it's endangered native wildlife, student scholarships or staff support, there are many funds to choose from, and you can rest assured knowing 100% of your donation will reach the fund of your choice.
